An Old School Addiction
My husband has a video game controller that you hook up to your T.V. and you can play old Atari games on it. I was up untill twelve-thirty last night trying to beat the first level of Breakthrough. I't's this little square that bounces up and down and you have to keep it going with a sort of paddle so that, when it goes up, it hits the blocks and eventually you break through the ceiling. I keep telling my husband that squares shouldn't bounce but he just gives me this look, you know the one? Anyway, Chris is really good at this game and it frustrates me to pieces. He sits back with this smug expression and chuckles at me as if he's thinking " Awwwwe, look at how cute she is over there, trying so hard and not getting anywhere."
I'm not sure, but I think I'm becoming obsessed with this dumb little one deminsional game. I woke up this morning and one of the first things I thought of was, I should go play that game.
It's amazing how incrediably addictive a ridiculous little game can become.
But, please don't help me. I need to beat this game so I can show my husband that I can hold my own.
